The Bugatti Chiron is one of the most exclusive cars in the world due to its performance and limited production. This exclusivity comes at a price, not only when buying the car but also when purchasing spare parts. An advert has appeared on a German online marketplace platform and has gone viral, showing that a set of Valeo headlights for the Chiron is being offered with a horrendous price tag.
These headlights, with the distinctive quadruple arrangement of LED lamps, are compatible with the Pur Sport and Super Sport 300+ trim levels of the Bugatti Chiron and cost a whopping $164,000, which is slightly less than the price of a brand new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS. The Porsche 911 Carrera GTS, by the way, costs $164,900. The ad reveals that the seller is based in Poland, but will ship the Chiron headlights to European countries, excluding Russia or Ukraine, for an additional $1,100. The advertiser also revealed that the headlights can be shipped outside of Europe, but the shipping costs are not listed.

Bugatti Chiron was first unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The mid-engined two-seat supercar was introduced as the successor to the Bugatti Veyron. It was influenced by the design of the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept car, which was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Bugatti produced 500 examples of the Chiron supercar between 2016 and May this year.
Bugatti Chiron: Powertrain
The Bugatti Chiron is powered by an 8.0-liter WR16 engine with four turbochargers and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The sports car is available in six different trim levels – Chiron, Chiron Sport, Chiron Pur Sport, Chiron Noire, Chiron Super Sport 300+ and Chiron Super Sport. The sports car’s engine can deliver a maximum power of between 1,479 and 1,578 hp peak power.
