A delivery truck parked in the wrong place at the wrong time was damaged by a falling tree.

As reported by Shin Min Daily NewsThe tree apparently could not withstand the strong winds in the region, which is why its trunk split in the middle.

The incident occurred at 11.30am on August 25 at a car park in Block 67 of Kallang Bahru.

A video of the episodes was posted on TikTok.

The large tree could be seen on the van with its trunk split in two, while the leaves were scattered across the parking lot.

The tree appeared to be at least twice as long as the van.

The video also shows a police officer on site.

A Shin Min A reporter who visited the scene of the accident found that the van’s roof had significant dents and the rear window was smashed.

The authorities took care of the tree

Residents reported wind and rain the previous day.

A woman who lives on the fourth floor of the block told Shin Min She had heard a loud noise and assumed that something had fallen from an upper floor.

When she looked out the window, she saw that the tree had fallen over.

Another resident said it was the first time he had seen a tree fall in the more than thirty years he has lived there.

At around 2 p.m. on the same day, according to Shin Minthe authorities came to cut the tree into smaller pieces and transport it away in groups.
