Water main break severely damages homes in Fort Worth
FORT WORTH — Homes were damaged when a water main in Fort Worth was hit by a utility crew doing a directional drilling job Monday. CBS News Texas has crews on the scene speaking with homeowners who are currently assessing the damage.
Fort Worth Water said the break in the 33-inch line along Trinity Boulevard was isolated and repair work should begin soon.
Fort Worth Water expects no customers will be without water during repairs, but there may be a slight drop in water pressure until the line is restored to service.
Due to the water main break, Hurst was forced to ask residents to stop outdoor watering for the next 24 hours and limit water use to essential business and personal purposes.
