Fans of “Dancing With the Stars” react to Stephen Nedoroscik’s entry into season 33

It is official, Dancing with the stars Fans. We now know the first candidate for Season 33 and it’s someone who made quite a name for themselves last summer.

On August 21, the world went crazy when they learned that the two-time bronze medalist Stephen Nedoroscik would compete on Dancing with the stars Season 33. Affectionately known as the “Pommel Horse Guy,” the male gymnast was part of the team that took third place in the men’s gymnastics team final at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He also managed to earn a bronze medal in the individual pommel horse event at the Olympics, where pictures of him sleeping before the competition quickly made him an internet sensation. And as if that wasn’t enough, he is making DWTS History as the first male gymnast to compete in the show.

“From Paris to #DWTS!🥉,” read the caption as Dancing with the stars confirmed the news on Instagram. “We’re thrilled to welcome pommel horse legend @stephen_nedoroscik as the first star of the season. Premiering Tuesday, September 17, live on ABC and Disney+! The next day on Hulu.”

When fans learned that gymnast “Clark Kent” would be swapping the pommel horse for the dance floor, they were immediately overjoyed to see him in a completely new competition.

“STEPHEN I’M SCREAMING,” one person shouted. “I’ve never watched this show but I’m on board,” another declared. “BRO THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST SEASON YET,” another follower added.

How does Stephen feel as a candidate at Dancing with the stars? When he appeared on Good morning America Earlier that day, he had already expressed his hopes for preparing for the competition.

“I’m hoping to bring in some of my gymnastics moves,” he said in a clip posted on X (formerly Twitter). “I want to do some flares. I want to bring in some of those gymnastics moves – maybe a backflip or a handstand. I want to have fun with it.”

We can’t wait to see what Stephen brings Dancing with the stars!
