Here’s the FedEx Cup prize money payout for every golfer at the 2024 Tour Championship | Golf news and tour information
The last man standing at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta on Sunday will boast both the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup, as well as an incredible cash payout.
This year, the PGA Tour is dishing out $100 million for its FedEx Cup bonus pool, with the ultimate champion receiving $25 million. We know that in this world of PGA Tour vs. LIV Golf, the payouts are exponentially higher than they were just a few years ago. And we know we’ve mentioned this before, but seriously, that’s an incredible amount when you consider that Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer, winners of 25 majors and 135 Tour titles, earned a combined $7,595,888 in their entire PGA Tour careers. The difference between first and second place this week alone is almost double that ($12.5 million).
Since the Tour switched to a staggered entry format for the Tour Championship in 2019 – giving the FedEx Cup points leader a head start on the rest of the field heading to East Lake – the money at stake this week in Atlanta is not officially tournament prize money; a player’s individual career earnings do not increase based on his performance in the 2024 season finale.
This is the situation before the start of the game on Thursday: Scottie Scheffler is in the lead, the other 29 players on the field are playing chase.

And here is the prize money payout for each golfer in the final FedEx Cup standings after the Tour Championship concludes. We’ll update this list with player names and prize money payouts shortly after it concludes on Sunday. As with regular PGA Tour events, the money will be split evenly among players if they finish in different places in this final event of the 2022-23 PGA Tour season.
