Adobe is a brand synonymous with some of the most powerful tools creatives can use for video editing, photo manipulation, digital illustration, and more. Because each program under that umbrella comes with a different cost, it can be difficult to figure out what you’re actually paying for when comparing Adobe Creative Cloud prices. To make it easier, we’ve summarized all of Adobe’s current prices below, including pricing for Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and the rest of the brand’s suite.

The price of Adobe Creative Cloud depends on whether you pay monthly or annually and whether you’re making a time commitment. In most cases, the cheapest way to get Photoshop, Illustrator, and the rest of these programs is to pay for a year up front. That’s significantly cheaper than paying 12 monthly, but paying up front still makes sense.

With that in mind, we’ve broken everything down below, including the price of Adobe Creative Cloud, the cost of individual apps, and Adobe discounts for students and teachers. If you’re a teacher, check out our roundup of the best teacher discounts.

Adobe Creative Cloud (1-year subscription)

Adobe Creative Cloud gives you access to all the powerful Adobe applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and more. When you choose this payment plan, you essentially get a month free instead of paying monthly.

Prices for Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe offers three payment methods for most of its programs, allowing users to choose the option that best fits their budget.

  • Monthly: Pay a fixed fee each month and can cancel at any time. This is usually the most expensive option, but is ideal for users who do not need the program for more than a few months.
  • Annually, payable monthly: With this plan, you pay the fees monthly but are locked into the service for a full year. There is a fee for early cancellation.
  • Annually, paid in advance: At first glance, this may seem like the most expensive plan, but it’s significantly cheaper than making all 12 monthly payments. This is the best choice if you’re making a long-term commitment and have the money up front. The $60 savings means you’re essentially getting a month free.
