ELCA Grand Canyon Synod Women’s Fall Retreat — ELCA Grand Canyon Synod

As life’s demands pile up, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, tired, and questioning your purpose. If you’re looking for a way to rejuvenate your spirit, the Grand Canyon Synod-Women of the ELCA invite you to a transformative retreat in Tucson, AZ. This retreat will be held October 4th and 5th at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and is an opportunity to step back, recharge, and allow the Holy Spirit to enflame your heart.

We are excited to welcome Elizabeth McBride, Director of Intergenerational Programs, Digital Engagement and Editor of Boldcafe.org from the ELCA Churchwide office in Chicago, as our keynote speaker. Elizabeth will help us develop a whole and healthy body and give us the strength to embrace God’s plans for us. In addition, you will have the opportunity to connect with two dynamic young pastors during a special networking event on Friday evening.

This retreat is not just about spiritual growth, but also about connection and community. Women from over 20 Synod churches have already signed up and are eager to share experiences and learn from each other. Whether you want to make new friends or deepen existing relationships, this retreat offers the perfect setting.

And don’t forget to bring your shopping passion! Over 22 unique gift baskets are available for purchase, with all proceeds benefiting the WELCA scholarship funds. The holidays are just around the corner, so it’s the perfect time to start gift shopping while supporting a great cause.

The final registration deadline is September 21. Don’t miss this chance to invest in yourself and your faith journey. Visit www.grandcanyonwomen.org/events to register online, find accommodation information, and explore scholarship opportunities. Invite a friend to join you—this could be the gift that fills your life with new friendships and lasting memories.

As we gather, remember the words of Acts 1:8: “You will be filled with power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.” Come, be filled, and leave inspired.
