A thief with a penchant for taking anything that isn’t nailed down, Kay Vess often gets into trouble with her sidekick Nix. And you often get into trouble as a result. It’s annoying when you’re trying to complete a job and the Empire is constantly breathing down your neck. Here’s a quick and easy way to make money: How to remove your wanted status in Star Wars Outlaws!

How to reach your wanted level

If you get stuck on a wanted level (what a pity!), you have several options to clear your name and progress further in the story. Here’s how to remove that pesky wanted level:

  • Are you looking for a Imperial Terminal and hack into the mainframe to clear your status. If you’re good at the hacking mini-game, you can get some credits or other valuable rewards as a bonus.
  • Are you looking for a Corrupt officer stationed all over the map. They will accept bribes if you have enough credits to satiate them. As you continue to explore the game world, you will inevitably come across corrupt Imperial officers, marked on your map as a yellow Imperial symbol.
  • If you only suffer from the misfortune of a low wanted level, you can run, wait or hide from the Imperial forces seeking your arrest. They will call it off if the wanted level is low enough. But if you have a high wanted level, they will call in our additional ground and air forces to find you, including Death Troopers!

While Star Wars Outlaws features extensive combat sequences, much of the game runs much more smoothly if you opt for stealth during most encounters.

How to get rid of a wanted level in space

Of course, not all of your encounters will take place on land. Sometimes you’ll have to deal with the Empire in space, and that’s where the Imperial satellites come into play.

As you soar through the skies with reckless abandon, with Imperial agents hot on your heels, keep an eye out for the telltale Imperial symbol on your map that indicates an Imperial satellite. It works on the same basic principle as the Imperial terminals on land.

When you fly near the Imperial Satellite, you will be prompted to hold down the Interaction button to remove the Wanted status.

Don’t worry about your credits, because using the Imperial Satellite system to reach your Wanted level in Star Wars Outlaws is free!
