While the My little pony The brand is a western franchise that hasn’t stopped its international popularity. Now, a new statue features one of the series’ most iconic ponies, reimagined as an anime-style human girl.

One of several statues from Sideshow and Kotobukiya, the upcoming Fluttershy statue from the Bishojo line gives a much more human look at the shy character My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The figure has been perfectly implemented in Moe human form and is perfect for fans of anime, pink-haired characters or MLP enthusiasts. Now available for pre-order, it’s the ultimate way to showcase the alluring face of kindness yourself.

The new Bishojo My Little Pony statue turns Fluttershy into a human moe girl

The new Fluttershy figure is part of Kotobukiya’s “Bishojou” statue line, and doesn’t skimp on colorful details. The statue depicts the character as a human girl, with her pony form also visible underneath. The human incarnation has the same pink hair as Fluttershy’s pony form, while the rest of her design reflects the adorable horse in a different way. The pink ribbon-like feature around Fluttershy’s shoulders is reminiscent of her yellow horse fur and wings, with this detail also seen on the hem of her dress. Likewise, the pink butterflies at the bottom of the dress represent her cutie mark, which can be seen on the pony’s side, with Fluttershy having a green butterfly in her hair and butterfly-like shoes. Even her bright blue eyes are the same as the horse’s, making the human form a true realization of the popular character.

Fluttershy appears to have been inspired by the Generation 1 pony Posey Bloom and was one of the main characters in the 2010s cartoon. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. This was the most popular modern incarnation of the brand and ran from 2010 to 2019. The hugely successful show also inspired an unexpected fan base in the form of adult male “bronies”. In addition to Fluttershy herself, there were other Friendship is magic Characters that have received the Kotobukiya Bishojou treatment include Twilight Sparkle, Princess Celestia, and Pinkie Pie. Made from ABS and PVC and standing 8.66 inches tall, the Bishojou Fluttershy figure is available for pre-order now for $120, but will not ship until between April and June 2025. Kotobukiya’s Bishojou line has transformed various other franchises into similar anime transformations, from well-known anime and video game brands to horror films and completely “uncute” characters like robots from the Transformers Franchise.
