Meet the 12 players representing Team Europe at the 2024 Solheim Cup
Captain Suzann Pettersen will be looking to continue Europe’s recent dominance of the Solheim Cup with her new 12-strong squad. The tips are in and the Americans will face a similar team to last year’s in Spain, where the Europeans defended the Cup in dramatic fashion.
Ten of the 12 players are returning, with Solheim rookie Esther Henseleit and Bronte Law the only newcomers. The 2024 Solheim Cup will be played September 13-15 in Gainesville, Virginia, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. The Americans have not won a Solheim since 2017. Team Europe consists of the top two players on the Solheim Cup points list and the top six players on the Rolex Rankings who have not qualified otherwise. Pettersen had four captain suggestions, which she announced on Monday.
