The premiere of Season 33 of Dancing With the Stars is scheduled for September 17, 2024, and fans can’t wait to find out who will be on the show.

The first celebrity participant confirmed is Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik. The presenters Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough as well as the experienced judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli have also been confirmed.

Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy went on a family vacation in late summer

DWTS fan favorite Jenna Johnson is spending the last days of summer far, far away from her home in the Los Angeles area. The professional dancer is vacationing with her husband Val Chmerkovskiy and their one-year-old son Rome. At the end of August 2024, the professional dance couple posted photos from the beaches of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

“On the island time 🤠,” Johnson captioned a slideshow of family photos from the beach. In other photos, baby Rome could be seen wearing a big smile while playing on the beach.

Derek Hough is no longer a DWTS pro, but he’s still an important part of the show. Weeks before stepping up to the judges’ table, the six-time mirrorball champion turned judge reflected on his new life as a husband, days before celebrating his first wedding anniversary with wife Hayley Erbert.

In an Instagram reel from August 24, Erbert is seen eating a salad and questioning its ingredients. “Ugh, is that a beetroot?” asked the dancer.

Hough started beatboxing into his hand and said, “No, baby, that’s the beat!”

Then he asked his wife, with whom he had been married for almost a year, “Aren’t you happy that you married me?”

“An eternity of bad turnips! #marriage,” Hough captioned the reel.

“No turnips for me… 🤢🤢,” Erbert wrote in the comments section.

Weeks after welcoming his third son with wife Peta Murgatroyd, “Dancing With the Stars” veteran Maksim Chmerkovskiy showed off his new workout — also known as “dad training.” While holding 10-pound weights, the Season 18 mirrorball champion recited “cuckoo,” “weeeeee,” “I got him, I got him!” and other phrases you might say as a new dad while the “Rocky” theme song played.
