Fakhrul calls for the dismissal of fascist government officials involved in mass murder

DHAKA, August 26, 2024 (BSS) – Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today urged the interim government to soon dismiss officials who committed mass murders in favour of the fascist government and replace them with honest and dutiful officials.


“We see those people (officials) who helped the fascist government and were involved in the murders in the administration. We do not want to see their faces anymore,” he said.

The BNP general secretary added: “Please remove them as soon as possible and give a chance to those who are patriotic, who want to work and who have been deprived of basic amenities. If this is not done, the nation will not forgive you.”

Fakhrul made the remarks while addressing a memorial function for Kazi Zafar Ahmed, one of the organisers of the Liberation War and former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Jatiya Party, at the Jatiya Press Club (JPC) here as the guest of honour to mark the 9th death anniversary of him (Zafar).

The Jatiya Party (Zafar) organized the meeting under the chairmanship of its chairman and former minister Mostafa Zamal Haider.
