To begin the conversation, Erika shares insight into her role at Feeding America and gives our audience an overview of Feeding America’s goals and efforts to improve food security in the United States.

The challenge is designed to directly address the increased food insecurity in the U.S. and ensure that healthy food is being put in refrigerators and not in landfills.

In the second half of the conversation, Erika shares her thoughts on what more the industry can do to safely rescue food, helping food-insecure consumers across the U.S. access familiar foods that are safe to eat.
