Horse riding in Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the many joys you can experience while playing. When I got the white Arabian horse at Lake Isabella, I forgot about all the steeds I had tamed before, so this was my first choice in terms of the best horse breeds in Red Dead Redemption 2.

At the start of Hogwarts Legacy, players must either choose a Hogwarts house to start in, or they must take the game’s house quiz to decide which house is right for them. Whether you were in your favorite house or the house you were born to, you ended up exactly where you belonged. The truth is, house doesn’t matter that much (aside from Hufflepuffs attending Azkaban). I started playing as a Ravenclaw student, which is the house Pottermore sorted me into years ago (and as a kid, I wasn’t happy it wasn’t Gryffindor). Thankfully, it seems the Sorting Hat was right about my house all along.

I avoided getting my head chopped off and now I’m an adventurer and apparently I have to fight giant lizards? I have to choose my words carefully or I’ll end up blowing someone up.

Racing games offer so much variety that they’re essentially their own genre. Considering Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing fall into the same game category as racing simulators like F1 and Need For Speed, there’s plenty of competition on the race track. When it comes to real racing games, it’s hard to beat the classic Need For Speed: Underground 2.

When thinking of video games that deserve a remake, several titles immediately come to mind. In particular, the Jak & Daxter or Ratchet & Clank series would be perfect for a trilogy remake of the first three franchise titles, similar to the Crash and Spyro trilogy remakes. Aside from that, The Simpsons: Hit & Run deserves a very honorable mention, as does Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, simply because it is perhaps my favorite racing game of all time.

Some people fall in love with gaming as soon as they pick up a controller, but for others it takes a special kind of game to ignite that passion. I started playing games like Super Mario Bros. and Sonic The Hedgehog when I was three or four, but it wasn’t until a few years later that I really started to fall in love with gaming. The first video game that really grabbed me was Final Fantasy Mystic Quest: a simplified JRPG designed specifically for a Western audience. It was pretty basic compared to one of the regular Final Fantasy games, but perfect for a six-year-old who was new to the genre. A few years later I got my hands on Pokémon Blue, and the year after that I got my hands on Shenmue. From that point on I was completely addicted to video games, and I’ve remained that way to this day.
