It turns out that the rumors about Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars were true.

On Thursday afternoon, the Grammy winners announced their joint single “Die with a Smile” and its official video on Instagram. Gaga and Bruno didn’t reveal any details about what they had in store, but the song’s cover art suggested they were up to something rustic. The artwork showed the singers in blue and red outfits that relied heavily on retro-western vibes.

“Song and video tonight! 9pm PT,” Bruno captioned the post.

Gaga also shared the artwork on social media, hinting that the track was not part of her upcoming studio effort: “WHILE YOU WAIT FOR LG7… ‘DIE WITH A SMILE,'” she wrote, “a duet with @brunomars.”

“Die with a Smile,” produced by Andrew Watt, is the first official song from Gaga and Bruno. The two sparked rumors of a collaboration earlier this week when they were spotted wearing each other’s merch t-shirts.

It is unclear if the single is a standalone release or part of a full body of work. Bruno is reportedly working on his fourth solo studio album (his first since 2016). 24K Magic), while Gaga prepares for the release LG7The Oscar-nominated actress hinted about the project during a question-and-answer session in June.

“I’m in the studio every day,” she said, as reported Elle Magazine. “I’ve written so many songs, I’ve produced so many songs, and it’s like nothing I’ve ever done before. I love breaking genres and I love exploring music. There’s something really beautiful about knowing that you’re loved no matter what you do.”

She continued, “Something I’m definitely exploring right now is kind of the art of intensity, and I think the art of intensity actually started during this tour. But I’m not done with it yet.”
