The last week of August brings predominantly dry and sunny weather

At night it will still rain in the central and eastern parts of the country, but during the day it will remain dry. A light to moderate westerly wind will blow. Temperatures will cool down to +12…+17 degrees at night, but during the day temperatures will rise to +20…+25 degrees.

Tuesday will also be quiet and mostly rain-free, with only occasional rain in the southeast in the morning hours. During the day the sun will shine in most areas and temperatures will remain the same as on Monday. During the night into Tuesday the temperature will cool down to +10…+15 degrees, in Latgale it will be one to two degrees warmer.

No significant changes in the weather are expected in the middle of the week. There will be a light wind, occasional clouds and temperatures will mostly stay in the range of +11…+16 degrees during the dark hours of the day. It will also remain summery warm during the day, with temperatures rising to +20…+25 degrees.

According to current forecasts, a relatively warm air mass will dominate in Latvia over the weekend, so that the weather will remain pleasantly warm, but with decreasing air pressure, rain clouds will become more common.
