At FutureDawn, Harper is still Anna’s assistant, but she’s trying her luck. Petra is weighing her options, feeling like she can’t move forward for Anna and her contract. She asks Harper if she would come with her if she leaves FutureDawn and wants her to help develop strategies for self-funding. She invites Harper to come to the climate conference so they can try to convince potential investors of their idea. Things are moving quickly for Harper, just the way she likes it.

Meanwhile, Eric is invited to a conference to discuss Pierpoint and Lumi’s relationship. It’s best for both parties if people believe their partnership has been successful. During one evening, Robert and Yasmin reveal that they’re also going on the trip. Harper tells them that she’ll never see her boyfriend again, while Robert briefly mentions that Gus is working in Palo Alto. Actor David Jonsson has left the show, so I’m glad they at least briefly mention this character.

Yasmin’s lawyer Denise calls her that same evening and says her father’s boat was spotted in the UK. Denise spends more time with Eric, proving that their encounter in the season 3 premiere was not just a one-night stand. But the two argue and end the relationship.

Eric, Yasmin and Robert board a private jet to fly to Switzerland, and Yasmin wonders why she And Robert is there. Henry arrives and awkwardly throws the Pierpoint team into the back of the plane to make room for his friends, despite asking Yasmin to stay with him in the front. When they arrive at their hotel, Eric and Robert are disappointed to learn that they have to share a room due to a booking mix-up, while Petra and Harper also arrive and try out their room. As more guests show up and start mingling, Anna confronts Eric, asking him why Lumi’s stock has fallen.

Robert socializes in his own way, introducing himself to a Pierpoint analyst named Frank in the hotel sauna. Robert is worried that Frank will post a recommendation to sell Lumi stock during tomorrow’s panel, although Frank doesn’t seem to be easily swayed without getting something in return. The scene ends before we see if Robert is willing to return the favor. Later that night, as they share a bed, Eric asks Robert what’s going on with his relationship with Yasmin, to which Robert says they’re just roommates.

Harper shows up at the hotel party and has Yasmin introduce her to Otto Mostyn. Their conversation as a group seems to be going well until Henry’s girlfriend comes over and asks Yasmin if her father is really missing or if she killed him. Henry yells at him and runs after Yasmin to see if she’s OK. The line between work and personal is getting thinner between the two of them by the minute, and they both know it, even though Yasmin seems to want to deny it.

Early the next morning, Petra and Harper meet with potential investors, but they don’t go well. People are uninterested, which discourages Petra, who worries that she doesn’t have her physical track. She considers just returning to London. Harper doesn’t like this idea and, unsurprisingly, takes matters into her own hands. Yasmin tells Harper that someone in the Pierpoint office will have Petra’s track and she will make it happen. She tells her that she wants a commission on the job, and Harper agrees, saying that she has always wanted Yasmin to work for her.

The Lumi panel begins with Eric, Henry and Anna on stage. They do a pretty good job of keeping up appearances, at least until news comes that a hold rating has been issued on Lumi. This is a recommendation for investors to hold the stock rather than sell it or buy it, which is not the case. worst thing, but it’s not looking good for Lumi. Ideally, they want people to keep buying, and that’s a big red flag that something is wrong with the company. During the Q&A, Harper says she’s here to launch a new fund with Petra, and puts Lumi and Pierpoint on hold.

After the panel, a man from the audience approaches Harper and wants to know more about her and Petra’s fund. Back in her hotel room, Petra yells at Harper and says she’s going back to London, angry that she acted so impulsively and exposed her like that. But she changes her mind when Otto shows up at her room with the man who approached Harper and asked about her fund. Petra is pleasantly surprised to hear that Harper got her track, which helps them get an investment from Otto. Side note: Jesse Bloom is mentioned twice in this episode, though the details of what happened to him are unclear.

Yasmin finds Henry alone in the hotel pool and apologizes to him for the bad panel result. He tells her that Lumi has dropped another 20%, to which she asks why he even cares when he could make millions from a sell-off. But Henry doesn’t seem to care and asks her to ignore the image the media is painting of him just like he does her. He then tells her that his father committed suicide and confesses that he has had suicidal thoughts before. The only way to overcome the bad thoughts is to build something of his own, namely Lumi. He admits that it was selfish of him to arrange Yasmin’s visit, but he had hoped they would have a few minutes alone. With a kiss on her cheek, he leaves. Alone in the bathroom, Henry is on the phone and says that he wants to sell his Lumi shares.

At another networking party, a friend of Henry’s approaches Eric and introduces herself as Susie, to which he introduces himself as Robert Spearing. Robert sees Frank and tells him he owes him a drink. The next morning, Eric is awakened by Yasmin knocking on his door and saying she has set up a meeting with a new fund. Susie is in bed next to him, and when she gets up to get dressed, we learn that she is a sex worker and Eric owes her $20,000. He sneaks out of the room and tells her he’ll be right back, which understandably makes her angry. She is close behind him and yells at him in front of the people, calling him Robert Spearing.

Eric’s next big surprise is who he’s meeting with: Petra and Harper. Petra tells him they want Pierpoint as their broker, and Eric is shocked to hear Otto Mostyn has invested. Anna later sees Petra and Harper in the lobby and gives them the middle finger, while Petra and Harper realize they need to come up with a name for their fund.

On the return flight, Robert and Eric are frightened when Henry closes the cabin door and they catch a glimpse of him and Yasmin having sex through the gap. Yesthat line between personal and professional life has definitely disappeared, but will Henry even matter to Pierpoint any time soon? We will find out when industry Season 3 continues next week.
