• Existing chats: When you block someone, their chat will disappear from your account. The chat will still be available in the blocked person’s account. Removing a friend from Snapchat will not affect existing chats.
• Can the person send you snaps?: Depending on your Snapchat privacy settings, if you remove the person from your friends list, they can still send you Snaps. With the blocking feature, the blocked profile will no longer send you Snaps.
• Can you block or remove someone: You can block anyone on the Snapchat platform. However, you can only remove those from your friends list initially.

If you are sure that you do not want to interact with certain accounts on Snapchat, you can use the block feature to become completely invisible to them without having to delete your Snapchat account.

Do you stay on someone else’s friends list?

If you use the Remove feature, your name will still appear in that person’s friends list.

Step 1: Open Snapchat on your phone and go to your profile Menu.

Step 2: Go to My friends and find a contact you want to block or remove.

Step 3: Once the chat menu is open, tap the Profile pictureand then select the Three-dot symbol.

Step 4: Select the Three-point menu and tap Manage friendship.

Step 5: Choose block or Remove friend (based on your preferences) and take action.
