Simone Biles posts video of her parents dancing on her father’s birthday

Simone Biles celebrates her parents’ love!

The 27-year-old 11-time Olympic medalist shared a video of her parents Ronald and Nellie Biles dancing at her father’s 75th birthday party on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, August 24.

“47 years strong,” Simone wrote over the video, adding emotional emojis and “my parents are so sweet.”

In the video, Nellie and Ronald wrapped their arms around each other and swayed together while Ronald appeared to sing to his wife.

The Biles family initially celebrated Ronald’s milestone birthday on the actual date, August 8, in Paris while Simone was competing in the 2024 Olympics. When the gymnast returned home, they threw a more traditional party.

On August 24, Simone celebrated her father’s special day again on her Instagram Stories. “My dad is the sweetest, happiest 75th,” she wrote over a photo of Ronald in a Cleveland Browns jersey while posing in front of brown and orange balloons in what appeared to be the family’s living room in Texas.

In addition to being celebrated with a family party, Ronald also received some fabulous gifts during his stay in Paris, including a gold necklace from Death Row Records, given to him by Snoop Dogg.

Simone’s sister Adria Biles joked about her father’s reaction to the rapper’s flashy gift in her Instagram stories, saying Ronald “doesn’t know how to act” now that he has the bling.

The gymnast has repeatedly spoken about her parents’ support in her career, especially when she withdrew from competition at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics due to “twitching.”

“Thank you for making sacrifices since day 1 so I could live out my dream. But most of all, thank you for always being there for me through all the ups and downs,” Simone wrote in 2021 in the caption of an Instagram post with photos of her parents. “You are the absolute best. I love you all 🤎.”
