The harrowing last words of Jeffrey Dahmer before he was brutally murdered in prison

The notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer was ultimately brutally beaten to death by a fellow inmate – and his last words were quite haunting.

Dahmer, also known as the “Milwaukee Cannibal,” murdered at least 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991.

He drugged and sexually abused his victims before killing them. Dahmer also admitted to cannibalizing some of their body parts.

The serial killer was finally sentenced to 16 life sentences in 1992 and later met a brutal end in prison.

Christopher Scarver killed Dahmer in 1994 by beating him to death while the two were housed at the Columbia Correctional Facility.

In a 2015 interview with the New York Post, Scarver described Dahmer’s experiences in prison.

“He took them to places where there are people,” he said. “With some people he crossed the line – prisoners, prison staff. Some people in prison regret their actions, but he wasn’t one of them.”

He continued, “I witnessed heated arguments between (Dahmer) and other prisoners from time to time,” adding, “There was no impression.”

Scarver initially had no intention of approaching Dahmer because he did not want to be the target of his horrific style of humor.

However, on November 28, 1994, Scarver, Dahmer and their cellmate Jesse Anderson were assigned to clean the prison gym when no guards were present.

Scarver further claimed that one of the two had pushed him in the back to provoke him, but he “couldn’t say who it was” – and that at that moment he took a 50-centimeter-long metal bar from a training device and cornered Dahmer.

Scarver pulled a newspaper clipping from his pocket and confronted him with his crimes.

He said: “I asked him if he had done these things because I was deeply disgusted.

“He was shocked. Yes, he was… He started looking for the door pretty quickly. I blocked him.”

Scarver, then 25, hit 34-year-old Dahmer twice on the head with the pole and smashed his head against the wall.

According to The Mirror, before his death, Dahmer said, “I don’t care if I live or die. Kill me.”

Scarver then went to Anderson, who was working in a dressing room.

He said: “He paused for a moment and looked around.

“He looked to see if there were any officers there. There weren’t any. Pretty much the same thing (happened) – his head was ripped out.”

Scarver later received two additional life sentences for the murders of a person at his workplace, in addition to his original life sentence for the murder of them.
