Busy Philipps claims ‘bully’ James Franco threw her to the ground at Freaks and Geeks

Actress Busy Philipps claims James Franco attacked her on the set of the cult TV show Freaks and Geeks.

In a new paper This will only hurt a littleShe also said Franco acted like a “fucking bully” on the show.

An excerpt from the book obtained by Radar Online (and verified by Yahoo in the US) reveals the details of the incident in which Philipps was instructed to lightly slap Franco on the chest while reciting her line.

However, she claims that he lost his composure.

“He grabbed me by both arms and screamed in my face: ‘NEVER TOUCH ME AGAIN!'” she writes.

“And he threw me to the ground. Flat on my back. The air was knocked out of my lungs.”

She adds that everyone on set was shocked at the time and that an argument broke out between her and her co-star Linda Cardellini, who in turn advised her to call her manager.

Philipps goes on to say that Franco later apologized for the incident at the behest of the show’s director and producers, but was not punished.

Franco has not yet commented on the matter.

The show was the breakthrough for producer Judd Apatow and director Paul Feig and also launched the careers of Seth Rogen and Jason Segel.

Franco has previously been accused of sexual misconduct by several women, including former acting students, but he denies the allegations.

In a conversation with Seth Myers this summer after the allegations became known, he said, “I think what I’ve really learned is that, as I said, there are stories that need to come to light, people that need to be listened to.”

“I have my own side of the story, but I believe that these underrepresented people share their stories enough that I will hold back on things that I might say just because I believe in it so much.

“If I face backlash for not actively trying to disprove things, it’s because I believe in them so much.”
