Mission: Yozakura Family Anime introduced additional voice actors and characters after the premiere of episode 21, including Akira Ishida, Chiaki Kobayashi, and Ami Koshimizu. Studio SILVER LINK is animating and the anime will stream on Hulu in the US and Disney+ worldwide. It is set to have a total of 27 episodes. You can see the new characters below.

Akira Ishida as Asuka Hatoda

The Narcissistic President of PoPoPPo
A young man with extremely high self-esteem who runs the globally popular toy manufacturer PoPoPPo. Behind the scenes, he runs a crime consulting company whose main activities are weapons, counterfeit money, and missile production. He has his sights set on becoming Mutsumi’s husband.

Chiaki Kobayashi as Aonuma

A relaxed young man with cooling powers
A member of the Nijibana Rainbow Flowers of Tanpopo, a fully compatible Hazakura user. His Hazakura output efficiency is 366%, which ranks him 5th within the organization. He can emit cooling gas from his body, allowing him to make it snow or freeze his opponents. His real name is Ryo Aoyanagi.

Ami Koshimizu as Akai

Flame User, enveloped in the flames of hate
A member of the Nijibana Rainbow Flowers of Tanpopo, a fully compatible Hazakura user. Her Hazakura output efficiency is 512%, the highest within Nijibana. She controls a flame that burns anything it touches. Born as Miki Akasaka, she was once an ordinary high school girl who lost her family to an arsonist.

They also introduced two new characters without revealing their voice actors.

Kurosawa

A former death row inmate who is not afraid of death
Another of the fully compatible Hazakura users in the Nijibana Rainbow Flowers. His Hazakura output efficiency is 501%, ranking him 2nd in the organization. His entire body is made of an organic alloy that can change shape through electrical muscle stimulation. His real name is Yoshimasa Kuroda and he has no fear of death whatsoever.

Cha Cha

The brain of the Tanpopo base that controls all systems
A fully compatible Hazakura user in the Nijibana Rainbow Flowers. His Hazakura output efficiency is 398%, ranking him 4th within the organization. Although he had a brilliant mind from a young age, no one noticed his abilities because of his inability to communicate. He is known for making condescending remarks and looking down on others.

Mission: Yozakura Family is a Japanese manga written and drawn by Hitsuji Gondaira. It was published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since 2019. VIZ Media publishes the manga in English, while Hulu describes the story:
A family that is anything but ordinary?! High school student Taiyo Asano, the “ultimate introvert,” has lost his family in a tragic accident. The only person he can talk to is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura, who, as the heir to a spy family, is keeping a wild secret. Her brother Kyoichiro, an experienced spy, has his sights set on Taiyo. To save himself, Taiyo agrees to marry Mutsumi and join the Yozakura family. Thus begins an unprecedented mission!

The anime recently entered the top 10 in our latest weekly ranking after episode 20.
