What we know so far about the Oasis reunion: “Concerts in Wembley and Glastonbury planned for 2025”

Here’s everything we currently know about the rumored Oasis reunion next year.

The Gallagher brothers are reportedly putting their long-standing feud to rest and reuniting the legendary Britpop band for a series of performances in London and Manchester next year.

Last night, the rumour mill at X was in full swing: an article was published in the Sunday Times saying that “industry insiders” were saying Oasis would play ten nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, surpassing Taylor Swift’s eight-night run, and would also play several nights at Heaton Park in Manchester.

If the news were true, it would be (in the words of Liam Gallagher) absolutely “biblical.”

In fact, Liam has been actively stirring up trouble on social media, replying to a fan: “See you in the front” and tweeting: “I’ve never liked the word FORMER,” ahead of his headlining performance at Reading Festival today (August 25).

Will Oasis get back together next summer?

Brothers Liam and Noel have been on frosty terms since their infamous backstage feud at Paris’ Rock En Seine festival in 2009, which saw the older Gallagher brother and the band go their separate ways.

However, the war of words between the two seems to have died down in recent years. In June, Liam even declared on social media that he keeps a seat free for his brother at every show after a false report from a fan went viral on the internet.

Noel has been similarly complimentary towards his younger brother recently, even praising his singing voice in a video marking the 30th anniversary of their debut album. Definitely maybe.

The reports of the reunion all stem from a Times article which states that “industry insiders” are firmly convinced that the summer of 2025 will be Oasis’ year, and there are even rumors of a triumphant performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.

The Sun has now jumped on the reunion bandwagon and published an exclusive story saying that the reunion news will be announced this week.

“This is the reunion that no one thought would ever happen,” an industry insider is said to have told them.

“There will be concerts in the UK next summer and both Noel and Liam are looking forward to going there together again.”

Meanwhile, the Manchester Evening News reported that ticket prices for the planned shows would be in the region of £100.

What did the band say about the reports?

Aside from Liam’s numerous tweets (which have not confirmed anything so far), the brothers have not yet publicly commented on the rumors.

So it is still definitely a Perhaps The situation for the Oasis reunion is not entirely clear at the moment, but it could well change next week.

LADBible has contacted representatives for Liam and Noel Gallagher for comment.
