Striker Mehdi Taremi is happy to be able to contribute to Inter Milan.

The Iranian international spoke to the Italian broadcaster DAZN about FCInterNewsafter his team’s 2-0 win against Lecce. He also praised his teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan and spoke about the possibility of playing in a strike trio.

Taremi made his first start in Serie A last night.

It was an effective performance from the 32-year-old. He may not have got on the scoresheet, but his signature was clearly visible in Inter’s 2-0 victory.

It was Taremi who passed the ball to Matteo Darmian, who scored the first goal for the Nerazzurri.

“That’s a question for the coach, not for me,” said Taremi.
