Working as an auditor offers you the opportunity to work alongside your current job, build additional income through competitive daily rates and further develop your own skills and development.

The job profile outlines the expectations for the reviewer’s role as an author/editor and the person description describes the experience we expect from someone as a reviewer.

Further information can be found in the job profile / requirement profile

The examinations for the Wall and Floor Tiling qualifications consist mainly of multiple choice questions with occasional work on practical tasks.

We are looking for examiners who will initially support us in writing and editing multiple choice questions (MCQs) and, if necessary, also take over the ongoing maintenance of the required exams and tasks.

There will be a one-day MCQ writing and editing course in October. After successful completion of the course, papers will be commissioned in the following weeks. Editing is expected to take place in October/November. During this time, you will need to be available to attend a full-day editing meeting – sometimes it is possible to split these over two evenings if there is no time for staff on the paper writing committee during the day (if this applies to your situation, please mention this in your application).

These meetings would be planned in advance.

Occasionally, ongoing maintenance may be required.

Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until 2026 and suitable applicants will be invited to training courses.

When completing your application, it is important that you read the job profile in full and design your application so that you meet the specified requirements. Please note that applications that do not meet the job profile may be rejected or delayed. We look forward to receiving your application.

We believe that diversity and inclusion strengthen and enrich us and that it is the responsibility of all City & Guilds Group employees to promote this value. We work hard to be inclusive in our recruitment and hiring processes, whilst ensuring we meet our legal requirements.

We strongly encourage and welcome applications from diverse and underrepresented communities.
