Filming of Fast & Furious 7 will be “difficult”

As filming continues on Fast & Furious 7, Jordana Brewster has admitted that there will be a gap in the cast in the form of Paul Walker.

Production on the latest film in the franchise was halted when the actor died in a car crash last year. And although the actress has yet to return to set, she has spoken out about resuming work on the film.

“I haven’t been on set yet, but I imagine it’s going to be very difficult,” she told Access Hollywood.

Brewster continued to pay tribute to her co-star, who played her husband in the films.

“I just remember seeing this stud walk into the room (for the first time) and he had this bleached hair,” she said. “I met him as a baby and watched him grow into this amazing, amazing, charitable man.”

“It’s not often that you get to work with someone for so many years, and he was such an exemplary person in his lifestyle. He was more beautiful inside than out.”

The actress will honor Walker at the MTV Movie Awards this weekend.

“Paul Walker has been a role model for MTV audiences since the beginning of his far too short career,” said MTV President Stephen Friedman.

“Our audiences grew up with him, from Varsity Blues to the Furious franchise. He was a movie star, but one they could relate to. Paul’s humanity and kindness were evident in every role.”

“We are honored to have a moment at this year’s Movie Awards to honor him,” he added.

The release of “Fast & Furious 7” is scheduled for April 10, 2015.
