I just noticed that a pair of jeans Blake Lively wore on the It Ends With Us press tour cost $19,000. I don’t think my entire wardrobe cost that much
In the early days of the It ends with us press tour, before all the viral rumors about the BTS drama started, we talked a lot about Blake Lively’s fashion. Apparently, the jeans she attended one of the first events for the movie cost $19,000. Wait, I’m sorry, those pants she wore before the movie, It ends with us’ release were worth how much? Yes, they actually cost $19,000, and that’s no joke.
Before It ends with us Publication on the Cinema program 2024Lively attended Book Bonanza and an early screening of the film in Grapevine, Texas, in June. It appeared to be a casual outfit consisting of a white top, jeans with floral cutouts that went from her thigh to her ankles, and a pair of high heels. Turns out, these weren’t just any old jeans. They’re $19,000 Valentino jeans, according to CNNwhich you can see below:
I never thought Blake Lively or any other fashion-conscious celebrities wouldn’t wear designer or cheap clothes, especially when promoting a new project. It’s perfectly normal for them to pull out all the stops and wear incredible designer clothes when making public appearances. Plus, they can simply afford higher-end brands. $19,000 is crazy though!
What makes this number even more remarkable is the idea that the most expensive jeans on Valentino’s website at the time of this writing, they are worth $2,800. That means the jeans Lively is wearing are over six times more expensive than what the designer brand currently sells.
This cost is easily worth at least three times the price of my entire closet, if not more.
However, as I mentioned, Blake Lively can probably afford it. Plus, it’s very common for celebrities to borrow the clothes they wear on red carpets and press tours, meaning it’s possible she doesn’t own these pants.
If you ignore the price of the jeans, they fit perfectly with Lively’s looks from the It ends with us Press tour. In Book adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s book, the gossip Girl Alum plays Lily, a florist who falls in love with a man named Ryle who ends up mistreating her. She also meets her first love Atlas and their relationship is rekindled. Flowers play a big role throughout the film and Lively drew inspiration from them for the outfits she wore to promote the project.
Sometime stole Ryan Reynolds’ clothes to create a fun floral look that is both masculine and feminine. She continued Method dressing with a fun pastel feather moment, and she showed off her flawless style again as she went full Barbiecore for an afterparty the film had.
Despite the drama surrounding It ends with us, Blake Lively and the film’s director, Justin Baldoni – there’s no denying that their fashion skills for the project’s promo were impeccable as always.
I’ll be the first to admit, though, that these jeans are insanely expensive, and I’d really like to know if she really paid that price for them.
