Cats viewer discovers an asshole that was forgotten to be removed in the film

It looks like we won’t have to see the “butthole cut” of Cats after all, as some have spotted cat-like buttocks in the final cut of the film.
In case you missed it, rumors started circulating earlier this year that there was a version of the film with cat assholes and that a person was hired specifically to remove them. Unbelievable.
However, a user on Twitter noticed that they may have forgotten to take some of these out in the actual movie… and yeah, we can’t unseen them anymore.
“I was years old today when I discovered they failed to remove all the assholes from the @catsmovie #releasethebuttholecut #ifoundthebuttholecut,” wrote @VforVictoryish.
Following the rumors about the alleged cut of “Cats,” Universal responded in March, admitting to Vanity Fair that it was its “favorite email EVER,” adding, “Hopefully, this will add to the magic and mythic nature of this cinematic treasure.”
However, it seems that the asshole version is just a pipe dream, as an anonymous member of the Cats crew said it never existed.

“There were never any pictures of cats with assholes,” they explained, according to a tweet. “Or at least intentionally. None that I’ve seen, anyway. However, there were about a dozen shots where the skin and fur simulation was inadvertently groomed or folded in such a way that they ACTUALLY looked like very furry female genitalia and assholes.
“The task (as usual with heavily computer-animated shows) fell to 2D to paint over the offensive articles that mentioned and discovered them. The daily briefings were constant awkward discussions by people who had the courage to point out such things: ‘Does that look like ass to you?'”
Assholes or not, we’re sure nothing could truly erase the memory of Cats.
