Honda has launched the 2018 Honda CB Hornet 160R. The price of the bike starts at ₹84,675 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This bike now gets some upgrades. This bike was Honda’s answer to the Pulsars. The 2018 CB Hornet 160R now comes with ABS, a new LED headlight and an aggressive new look. A new low-maintenance seal chain reduces the servicing cost of the bike and a new hazard switch provides additional safety. This switch allows all four indicators to flash simultaneously. Four variants are offered. The price mentioned above is for the standard version with disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear. The other is a CBS version and there is an ABS version with drum brake at the rear and another with disc at the rear.

Honda’s street-going sports bike CB Hornet 160R is powered by a 160cc HET engine. The engine is designed to deliver smooth power without compromising on fuel efficiency. The engine of the Honda CB Hornet 160R is quite refined. This is also one of its unique selling points. The air-cooled single-cylinder engine with 162.71 cc displacement produces 15.6 bhp at 8,500 rpm and offers a maximum torque of 14.76 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This engine is coupled with a five-speed gearbox. This is a good motorcycle for city riding. It is also quite comfortable to ride. It is only when you need more power on the highway that it lacks a little. The acceleration is linear and the exhaust sound is also good.
