WOLFSBANE release re-recorded version of their debut album under the new title “Live Faster”

After many years and numerous requests from fans, the long-time British hard rockers WOLFSBAN will release a re-recorded version of their first album, “Live fast, die fast”with the title “Live faster”. The release of the record is planned for the end of 2024 and is a completely new recording, not a remix or remaster of the original.

WOLFSBAN Guitarist and producer Jase Edwards said: “You asked, we listened. None of us know how long we’ll be on this earth, especially me, so it seemed like the right time to remake the album the way the band originally envisioned it. It’s going to be brutal.”

The album is currently in the final stages of production. Jase He has already burned through two amplifiers to achieve the desired intensity.

“The original recording was lost years ago,” comments singer Blaze Bayley. “It’s great to be able to return to the mood of these songs and use the experience we have now to re-record and reinterpret them with Jase to produce everything. It was one of the most exciting things we’ve ever done and we didn’t expect it to be this much fun.”

Steve Danger, WOLFSBANThe dynamic drummer is a bit more pragmatic. He says: “BLACK LEATHER JACKET! A new one, because the old faithful companion can no longer be closed due to a life full of experiences. Experiences are cake!”

Finally bassist Jeff Hatley summed it up well: “People have been asking us to do this for years, we always said no. But then we realized that we still play most of these songs live and they have evolved over the years. The 35th anniversary seems like a good time to do it all again, our way. The same but different, different but the same.”

The band recently released a teaser video from the studio on their social media and YouTube Channel with the headline “Name That Solo?!?!”.

WOLFSBAN In the mid-1980s he came from the Midlands and signed a contract with Rick Rubin‘S Definitely American label in 1989, built a huge fan base of (self-titled) “Howling Mad Shitheads” (HMS) and released three wild albums before imploding in 1994 when Bayley tied together IRON MAIDEN.
