    Evil Monkey
Keep the audience guessing, for example that Christopher turns out to be Caitlin’s father.
  • Expect more big revelations in
    Evil Monkey
Season 1, there are 7 episodes left in the Apple TV+ series.

I love Apple TV+ Evil Monkeybut I’m a little annoyed with myself for not predicting the big twist in the third episode. The end of Evil Monkey Season 1, Episode 3, “Nobody Said He Was Alvin Einstein,” surprised me, which was probably intentional. But in hindsight, all the signs were there for me to figure it out beforehand, and yet I didn’t. Still, it’s a brilliant reveal.

Vince Vaughn does a brilliant job the leadership of the Evil Monkey cast, and it’s really fun to see him in a different kind of role than his more traditional characters. He’s been one of my favorite comedians for a long time, and while he certainly gets chances to Evil Monkeyhis dramatic moments also have room to breathe. As Andrew Yancy, his relentless pursuit of a case he wasn’t even assigned is at the heart of the story, and Episode 3 brings a big and frustrating reveal.

That Christopher is Caitlin’s father in Bad Monkey is a twist that now seems obvious

There were clever signs that should have allowed me to predict the revelation about Rob Delaney’s character

From the beginning, the Apple TV+ adaptation of Carl Hiaasen’s 2013 novel made no secret of Rob Delaney’s Evil Monkey character is the main antagonist. Apart from that, The show cleverly hid the fact that Christopher was Caitlin’s father all alongThe biggest clue is of course Evil Monkey One of the options Christopher could have offered before the end of Nobody Said He Was Alvin Einstein would have been to show that Christopher was missing an arm, but that would have been a bit obvious given the key piece of evidence in the case.

Looking back at Christopher’s other
Evil Monkey
In scenes, Delaney’s character’s missing arm is always concealed in a creative way.

Looking back at Christopher’s other Evil Monkey Scenes, Delaney’s character’s missing arm is always creatively concealed. I also felt like Christopher was on the sidelines of the story, even though he is also portrayed as the main villain. When Caitlin is reunited with the character who turns out to be her father – a man who was thought to be dead – my vague feelings that something was wrong with Christopher started to make sense. I could say it was obvious, but then I’m sure I would have figured it out before now.

Caitlin is played by Charlotte Lawrence, daughter of

Showrunner and the man behind other shows like

I doubt Bad Monkey season 1 is done with its big twists

Apple TV+’s “Bad Monkey” will be 10 episodes long

Christopher’s revelation as Catilin’s father only occurs after a third Evil Monkey‘s run. The adaptation will eventually lead to a 10-episode season. The Christopher reveal may seem like a big moment, but considering there are still seven full episodes to come after this twist, I’m sure there will be even more dramatic revelations before the story ends. If not, the rest of Evil Monkey would probably be a very boring ride.
