AirSial expands its fleet with two new aircraft

AirSial will add two aircraft to its fleet early next year to start its international operations from Pakistan to various countries.

According to the information, the airline is acquiring two A320 aircraft with a seating capacity of 180 passengers. The fleet size of the private airline will be expanded to 7 after the arrival of the two aircraft.

“The ceremony took place at Al Nafoorah – Jumeirah Al Qasr, Dubai and was graced by Executive Vice President Airline Leasing & Sales BOC Aviation Alban Cruiziat, Chairman AirSial Fazal Jilani, Vice Chairman AirSial Muhammad Umer Mir and COO AirSial Tariq Amim,” the statement added.

It is worth mentioning here that the airline, founded on December 9, 2020 by the business community of Sialkot, has been granted permission to operate international flights on seven routes including China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom and Kuwait.

AirSial started its international flight operations on December 31, 2021.

AirSial’s first charter flight with 162 passengers on board departed from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore to Dubai.

Before departure, a cake-cutting ceremony took place at the airport.

The airline launched its domestic flight service on December 25, 2020 with Airbus A320-200 aircraft on the route between Karachi and Islamabad.

The airline began operations with a fleet of three Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
