Police are urgently searching for a missing 15-year-old girl who was last seen meeting a man after leaving a hotel.

Hind Ouchbik, 15, left the Premier Inn on Newgate Street in Newcastle city centre in the early hours of Friday morning.

According to Northumbria Police, she left the Premier Inn at 1.20am and then met a man outside The Gate, a popular shopping centre just a minute’s walk from the budget hotel.

The pair were then seen walking towards Rye Hill. They now believe Hind may be in the Benwell area.

Police are “increasingly concerned” about the young girl’s well-being.
