Marks helped Shiloh hone her dance skills at the Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles, where they first met.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Marks said their relationship focuses solely on dancing and they don’t talk about their backgrounds during practice.

Earlier this year, Shiloh made headlines when she reached a personal milestone: officially changing her last name from “Pitt” to “Jolie.”

A source close to Brad Pitt told PEOPLE that the actor is aware of the change and that he “loves his children and misses them.”
