Jelly Roll announces new album “Beautifully Broken”: Everything we know so far

Jelly Roll is making his comeback with his new album, “Beautifully Broken.” The announcement was made ahead of the singer’s upcoming tour. The announcement was followed by the release of his latest single, “Get By.” Speaking about his upcoming album, the singer said that he is looking forward to writing expressive songs and his upcoming album will give his fans a taste of that.

Roll overwhelmed his fans with the news of the release of his upcoming album, Beautifully Broken. The upcoming album will include songs such as “I Am Not Okay,” “Liar,” and “Get By,” among others. The recently released single “Get By” was also declared the anthem of the 2024 college football season by ESPN.

In the song Get By, Roll talks about overcoming life’s obstacles and shares what it’s like to get back up after being down. “I set fire to every bridge that I see, yeah, just to watch it burn / If you’d seen all the hell that I’ve seen, your stomach would turn / I think you know / Why I do what I do when I do, mm,” Roll sings in his new song.

In addition, all net profits from pre-ordering Beautifully Broken on its US web store will be donated to organizations that help people with mental health and addiction issues.

Jelly Roll spoke about his upcoming album in his interview with The New York Times Magazine and spoke openly about his thought process when releasing a song. Roll emphasized that he now wants to write songs that serve a purpose in both his own life and the lives of others, rather than writing songs that are purely for commercial purposes.

Roll noted, “I look for songs that have a purpose. When I release a song under the name Jelly Roll, I ask myself: why? Because for the first time in my life, it’s not a financial decision. I haven’t released anything for money in a long time. So now it’s really a why?”

Speaking about his other song from Beautifully Broken, Winning Streak, the singer revealed that he wrote the song from the perspective he gained from his real-life experiences. The Son of a Sinner singer also talked about attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, although he keeps a safe distance from harder drugs. He also revealed how he came up with the title of his song, Winning Streak, during one of these meetings.

It seems Roll’s upcoming album will delve even deeper into his perspective on life and his battle with substance abuse. Beautifully Broken will be released on October 11, 2024 by BBR Music Group/Republic Records.

But before the release, the singer will embark on his extensive nationwide “Beautifully Broken” tour, which will begin on August 27, 2024, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City and end on November 23, 2024, at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, after touring the entire country.
