Reading, Pennsylvania – The Reading Royals, ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, announced that forward Lou-Félix Denis has signed with the club for the 2024-25 season.

Denis signs his first professional contract with Reading after playing three seasons of junior hockey in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League with the Shawinigan Cataractes and Halifax Mooseheads. Last season, the Farnham, Quebec native recorded 62 points (28 goals, 34 assists) and 82 penalty minutes in 65 games.

The 21-year-old totaled 113 points (47 goals, 66 assists) in 197 career QMJHL games for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, Shawinigan Cataractes and Halifax Mooseheads. Denis added eight points (4 goals, 4 assists) in 25 career QMJHL playoff games. He won the President’s Cup with Shawinigan in the 2022 President’s Cup Playoffs and appeared in four Gilles-Courteau Trophy playoff games for Halifax last season.
