Joseph Joestar will be added as a playable character to the battle royale game JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Last Survivor in September 2024.

The arcade game from Bandai Namco JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Last Survivor adds Joseph Joestar from the second part of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Series, Fighting tendencyas a playable character.

The official Last survivor The YouTube channel announced Joseph Joestar in a livestream on August 24, 2024 during the “NEW GENERATION CHAMPIONSHIP 2024”. The update that makes him playable will be released later on September 4, 2024. Before Joseph, Leone Abbacchio joined the roster on June 5, 2024.

Joseph is the first character from Fighting tendency is set to be added and is currently the only non-Stand user in the game, as all other characters are from parts 3-6. He is a new “Ripple” (Hamon) type character.

Movement set

Joseph’s attack is “Clacker Boomerang,” where he throws his clackers as projectiles charged with ripple. Damage against vampires is increased.

His passive ability is Run Away. When Joseph’s health drops below a certain level, his sprint speed temporarily increases when he takes damage.

As a Ripple character, Joseph can charge his Ripple energy with the Ripple Breathing ability. By pressing the L2 button at the right moment, Joseph adjusts his breathing to create the Ripple. When the button is released in the yellow area, the unique Ripple gauge increases. Joseph glows with an aura when the gauge is full. When this aura is active, his movement speed and attack power increase and a knockback effect is added to Clacker Boomerang.

His ability “Ripple Hair Attack” creates a barrier of ripple-charged hair in front of him. Barriers can deflect enemy attacks and allow attacks from Joseph and his allies to pass through. Enemies that touch the barrier take damage.

His ultimate ability is “Overdrive”. It temporarily increases Joseph’s attack power, defense power, and movement speed. His ripple gauge also reaches MAX. During the duration, a big jump can be performed by holding down the A button. The recovery time after landing is also reduced.

The Battle Tendency challenge event will run from September 4, 2024 to October 22, 2024. It includes an orange outfit for Joseph Joestar.
