Vince McMahon’s health is reportedly deteriorating rapidly

According to Lee Cole, the brother of former WWE employee Tom Cole, Vince McMahon’s health is deteriorating rapidly.

“Linda McMahon, an acquaintance of mine, spoke to a person and told her that her husband’s health is rapidly deteriorating. And he’s not the same man he used to be. He hardly goes out anymore. That’s why you don’t see him in public,” Cole said.

Cole shared this news on his podcast. Wrestling with the devilEarlier this week. Today (August 15) he confirmed his statements and provided further details about his source.

“My source is someone who worked for the McMahons for seven years. That’s my source. It’s someone who knows the McMahons. It’s someone Linda talks to. Linda may not want to hear it, but that’s the way it is,” Cole said.

Cole did not name his source, but said it was someone wrestling fans would know.

Jessica Rosenberg, Vince McMahon’s attorney, denied these claims to POST Wrestling & Wrestlenomics, saying, “Vince is in good health. We have no idea where the rumor that he has health issues came from, but it is not true.”

McMahon, who turns 79 later this month, was seen using a cane late last year and appeared noticeably thinner and frailer after undergoing spinal surgery. His health became a topic of discussion amid an ongoing hush money and sex abuse scandal that led to his retirement in 2022. However, McMahon forced his return to the company in 2023 to facilitate the sale of WWE to Endeavor.

In January, months after the sale was completed, McMahon was accused of sex trafficking and other allegations in a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant. He later resigned from all positions related to WWE and its parent company. In May, at the request of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Grant agreed to stay her case against McMahon, WWE and John Laurinaitis due to a federal investigation.

Meanwhile, Cole, whose late brother Tom spoke about sexually abusing young boys in the 1980s, hopes McMahon’s health will not prevent him from standing trial for the crimes he is accused of.

“I hope Vince McMahon is not sick because Vince McMahon deserves to get the justice in court that he should have gotten many years ago,” Cole said.
