The funniest moments from the second episode of “Hard Knocks” – NBC Sports Chicago

Although Max delayed streaming the second episode of the Bears’ “Hard Knocks,” the episode entertained fans with some hilarious moments from the team.

Here are our three favorite moments from the second episode.

Cole Kmet and Austin Reed talk about “Love Island”

Tight end Cole Kmet and undrafted quarterback Austin Reed raved about the hit TV show “Love Island” while stretching before practice. And the conversation was hilarious.

“It’s just unbelievable,” said Kmet.

“Brother, Peyton and I watch Love Island religiously,” Reed replied.

“Dude, this is the most embarrassing show I’ve ever seen,” Kmet said. “It’s like watching a car crash. You think, ‘I have to watch this.'”

“I know they always come back after three days and say, ‘I think I found my man,'” Reed said.

Like some people reading this, I wouldn’t have expected football players to be debating the pros and cons of Love Island, but that’s the way it is.

Rome Odunze belts out Chris Brown’s “Kiss Kiss”

Especially at “Hard Knocks,” it is a tradition for newcomers to perform a song alone in front of the team for personal entertainment.

Caleb Williams took on John Legend’s “Ordinary People” in the first episode. Undrafted rookie Theo Benedet performed an iconic Canadian version of “God Bless the USA.”

In the second episode, rookie receiver Rome Odunze tried his hand at Chris Brown’s “Kiss Kiss.” And you can’t say the Washington product didn’t try.

Velus Jones Jr. tells the story of his former ferret Crash

Velus Jones only mentioned the time he and former USC teammate and current Colts receiver Michael Pittman shared a pet ferret in college, but during a press conference on Wednesday, he told the full story of “Crash’s” life.

“When we were roommates, my buddy Michael Pittman and I had a pet ferret. But it was great. RIP Crash,” Jones said during the show.

Of course, there were other classic moments from the second episode. DJ Moore and his family’s visit to the Museum of Ice Cream in Chicago was a real highlight (pun intended). Williams asking Odunze if his mesh wristbands were for the club was good too.

There’s sure to be more to come. Tune in every Tuesday at 8 p.m. CT on HBO or Max to experience the moments for yourself.
