Where to find important antibiotics in 7 Days To Die
When you load your first world, there’s a chance you’ll show up already infected. This is a kick in the butt because you’re now forced to trudge on and search for medicine, otherwise you risk your survival run not offering much chance of survival. 7 days to die is, despite its appearance, a merciless game and without the necessary know-how, there is a risk that you will succumb to the infection.
First of all, you need to find antibiotics. They are an important tool to fight infections and prevent zombie-turned-humans. If you want to survive, listen to us!
Here you can get antibiotics in 7 days to die!
Where can I get antibiotics?
When you first play, you don’t have the knowledge to create antibiotics – you’ll learn that later as you progress. For now, you have to Medicine cabinets, Storage boxesAnd Pill boxes. You can find these in a variety of interesting locations, with pillboxes often appearing in Pop-N-Pills. Medicine cabinets appearing in residences or hospitals. And finally, supply crates drop via plane every one, three, or seven days, depending on your game’s settings.
I’ve had the most luck finding antibiotics in medicine cabinets. They should spawn near a house or two, and if you’re lucky there’s an RV parked somewhere in the woods nearby. There’s a small chance the medicine cabinet in the RV bathroom will spawn antibiotics.
But be careful: Residential buildings in v1.0 often have a lot of zombies appearing. You open the front door expecting easy prey, but then a small horde awaits you!
How to make antibiotics
As you progress through the game, you will find that it is sometimes easier to craft necessary items than to scour the game world. Of course, you can also craft antibiotics at a campfire or chemistry station if your skills are high enough. Here’s what you need to craft at the campfire:
- x4 Old Sham Sandwich
- x3 Nitrate powder
- x1 water
- Medical Journal 60/75
- Campfire
- Beaker
And for crafting with the chemistry station:
- x1 Old Sham Sandwich
- x1 Nitrate powder
- x1 water
- Medical Journal 60/75
- Chemistry station
As you can see, it is far more efficient and cost effective to use a chemistry station. You can make one yourself or find one at Pop-N-Pills in Perishton, on the top floor of the hospital in Diersville, or at the strip club in West Navezgane.
With a steady supply of antibiotics, you will never have to worry about a zombie bite again. Of course, too many bites in 7 days to die is a death sentence, so you should still avoid them!
