The Seahawks made two trades before the third and final preseason game on Saturday. On Thursday, the Seahawks traded cornerback Michael Jackson to the Carolina Panthers to add depth at the linebacker position. On Friday morning, the Seahawks traded linebacker Darrell Taylor to the Chicago Bears for a 2025 sixth-round pick.

Shaquem Griffin is inducted into the UCF Hall of Fame

The University of Central Florida announced that Seahawks legend Shaquem Griffin will be inducted into the UCF Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024. Shaquem Griffin is known to many fans as the man who made it to the NFL with only one hand. The Seahawks drafted Griffin in 2018 and he spent three seasons with the team.

The Seahawks host a youth football station at the KC Play Equity event

All of the city’s professional teams have joined forces to host a free sports taster camp for underprivileged youth. The Seahawks have set up a youth soccer station at the camp so that the young people can practice their soccer skills.
