CLARKSVILLE, TN – People International Inc. (PII) is pleased to announce the success of a recent fundraiser held in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville (BBBSC). The event, held at Austin Peay State University’s Clement Auditorium, raised over $1,000 for the youth-serving organization.

The program, entitled “Life’s What You Make It,” included music and dance performances with Littles from the BBBSC office. The performance is in conjunction with the PII’s annual conference. The PII cast rehearsed with Littles from the BBBSC during the week of their conference to prepare for the performance.

“Working with Big Brothers Big Sisters was a real pleasure and we are excited to donate all the proceeds from our performance,” said Abbie Jolley, PII’s co-conference coordinator. “Having some of the ‘little ones’ on stage was magical; they sang, danced and really lit up the room. Experiences like this are why People International does what we do.”

“This collaboration between PII and BBBSC shows how strong community engagement and the power of collaboration can be,” said Sandra Brandon, Executive Director of BBBBC. “We are very grateful to Abbie and her team for including us in their annual conference.”
