Release schedule for all episodes of the second season of The Rings of Power
Next week, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power returns to Prime Video and picks up where the last season left off in 2022. The land of Mordor has been founded. The elves have created three rings of power, and Sauron has revealed himself to Galadriel, who was deceived by his disguise.
Amazon has spent a lot of money on it Lord of the rings prequel show, and it definitely shows in the trailers they’ve released. They want you to tune in when the new season premieres on Thursday, August 29th.
As usual, Prime Video will broadcast the first three episodes of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 at once, so you can watch them all in marathon. After that, the episodes will be released weekly. Here’s the full schedule. We don’t know any episode titles yet, so let your imagination run wild:
All in all, we will be watching the second season of The Rings of Power for six weeks. The first season found its fans, but also faced a lot of backlash. Will people like the second season better? Will it find the audience it needs to justify the huge sums Prime Video is spending on it? And is the stranger Gandalf or what? All these questions and more will (hopefully) be answered in the not too distant future.
And The Rings of Power Season 2 is not the only Lord of the rings what we get this year. In December, Warner Bros. Discovery will release an animated film called The War of the Rohirrimset long after The Rings of Power and a few hundred years earlier The Lord of the Rings right. Welcome back to Middle Earth.
