  • Amazon has released a teaser video for the final episode of The Grand Tour.
  • It marks the end of a 22-year partnership between Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
  • The trio made Top Gear famous and The Grand Tour survived the series.

The end of an era is at hand as the final episode of The Grand Tour airs on September 13. When that happens, it will likely be the last time Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May appear together on a show.

The Grand Tour has been running for eight years, but the team are better known for putting Top Gear on the map. The show became a worldwide phenomenon before Clarkson’s infamous “fracas” put an end to it all. Ironically, however, The Grand Tour would outlast Top Gear.

That being said, the final episode is called One For The Road and Amazon has released a new teaser video, pointing out that the trio have been together for 22 years and Clarkson saying, “For the last time, here we go.”

It’s not much, but the clip shows the presenters traveling through a desert and having a lot of laughs. They also seem to have problems with their questionable cars, including a modified Lancia Montecarlo.

Although the teaser doesn’t give much away, the video is already a hit, having garnered more than 420,000 views in the first six hours. It’s also the #12 trending video on YouTube, and is followed by another video showing James May’s visit to Jay Leno’s garage.
