Tom Brady always has the best things ready for his children’s birthdays. Today the father of three celebrates the birthday of his eldest son Jackwhich he shares with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan.

The first thing the former athlete did in the morning was share a gallery of sweet pictures of his son with a heartwarming caption. “Happy 17th birthday to the kindest, sweetest, most considerate 17 year old I know,” he began. “You are truly a blessing in my life and I am so grateful to watch you grow into a young man.”

Tom went on to say what he liked most about his son. “Your love for family, friends, school, sports, hard work and dedication to everything you put your energy into are just some of your amazing qualities. I love spending every minute with you and I cherish our time together,” said the 47-year-old.

The former quarterback admitted that his son can now beat him one-on-one, presumably referring to basketball. “Those are all the things I like most about you. My least favorite thing is that you can beat me one-on-one now,” he joked. Given Jack’s genetic makeup, it’s no surprise that he’s starting to falter against his father. For comparison, Tom is 6’4″ and his mother, Moynahan, is 5’10”.

Although Jack’s parents were not together when he was born, he was always surrounded by love and his former stepmother Gisele Bündchen considered him a “bonus child.” In February 2020, before Tom and her divorce in 2022, she told a fan on Instagram, “I don’t like the word ‘stepmom.’ I like the word ‘bonus mom’ because I feel like it’s a blessing in my life. I feel so lucky to have had a particularly wonderful little angel in my life.”

Tom is also Benjamin And Vivian’s father he has with Bündchen. They spent some quality time in Montana earlier this summer. While he juggles retirement and co-parenting with the model, Tom recently spoke openly about fatherhood and made it clear that it is a priority for him.

Last week he attended the first Fanatics Fest in New York City and talked Stephen A. Smith He stays busy even in retirement and has a lot going on at the same time. “I have a lot of things that keep me busy, but I still try to be a great dad and be there for my kids,” Brady said, adding, “And any parents out there know that being a good dad is a challenge.”
