Caitlin discovers that her father Nick Stripling lives under the alias Christopher

Nick hides in plain sight under the false name Christopher

At the peak Evil Monkey Episode 3: Caitlin, Nick Stripling’s daughter, comes to Eve’s house and threatens her with a gun, accusing her of killing her father. With her back against the wall, Eve insists that she did not kill Caitlin’s father. Caitlin is about to shoot Eve to get revenge for her father’s murder when Christopher suddenly appears behind her. Instead of taking Caitlin with him to cover up another loose end to their apparent insurance fraud, Christopher is happy to see Caitlin, who recognizes her father, Nick Stripling..

Now that the truth about Nick has come to light, both Eve and Caitlin can finally relax. Nick gives his daughter a one-armed hug as the final shot of Bad Monkey Episode 3 shows his left arm, which was found buried in the ocean and on a fishing boat, missing. This big twist reveals that Christopher is not a real person and Rob Delaney is playing the ominous victim Nick Stripling. It also confirms that Nick and Eve went to extremes to collect on Nick’s $5 million life insurance policy. Now that Caitlin has learned the truth, she will likely team up with her father and stepmother.

Why Nick is missing his left arm and uses a fake name

Nick probably commissioned Israel to surgically amputate his arm

Yancy had already suspected that Eve had committed a crime, believing that she had killed Nick Stripling or was responsible for his death. Evil Monkey Episode 3, Yancy visits Caitlin at her apartment and tells her that he discovered Nick’s bone fragments. in a shower drain in Eve’s house, which he believes is clear evidence that Eve is behind the whole thing. This is enough to convince Catlin of Eve’s guilt as well, so she shows up at Eve’s house with a gun. It’s not entirely clear how Caitlin got a gun, but she seemed pretty determined to take out Eve before her father showed up.

Instead of Eve killing Nick to collect the insurance money, it is now obvious that Nick faked his death with Eve’s help to cash in on his own $5 million insurance policy. While Eve and Nick clearly orchestrated the entire plot, they relied on the cooperation and help of several other loose ends, two of whom are now dead. Israel O’Peele, a surgeon, was likely hired by Eve and Nick to surgically remove Nick’s arm, as crazy as that may sound, in exchange for a share of the $5 million profits. Madeline’s boyfriend was probably there too and placed his arm at the end of the fishing hookmaking it look convincing as if Nick had drowned or been killed.

When Yancy and Rosa visit Israel’s apartment unannounced, he is stunned to learn that the boy who found Nick’s arm on the fishing boat has been shot. Nick’s demeanor changes completely and he refuses to talk to Yancy and Rosa any further, despite initially being like an open book. Suddenly he realizes that the situation has quickly become very serious. Israel calls Eve after Yancy and Rosa leave and has a panic attackAlthough Israel battles drug abuse and alcoholism, he is still aware that his life could be in danger after someone he knew was killed.

Israel reveals to Eve over the phone that he had Nick’s arm and gave it to Madeline’s boyfriend, which freaks him out. Rosa deduces with Yancy that Israel removed Nick’s arm because he was a surgeon and was involved in the scam, which Yancy thinks is brilliant and is a solid lead. Israel was about to talk to Yancy and come clean by texting him to come back to his apartment, which was an interesting choice instead of going straight to the police himself. Anyway, as Yancy walks toward Israel’s apartment, he hears a gunshot and moments later finds Israel’s body. Although the background is blurred, it is quite obvious that Christopher Israel has taken out.

What was Neville looking for in Christopher’s office?

Neville was probably looking for incriminating material on Christopher

Neville visits the Dragon Queen, frustrated because the curse she sent him to place on Christopher doesn’t seem to be working. In the third episode of Bad Monkey, Neville is forced to leave the monkey Driggs to the Dragon Queen and must continue to fend for himself, now that he is homeless. In an act of separation, Neville breaks into Christopher’s office and searches through his private files, although it is not entirely clear what exactly he is looking for. He eventually finds a USB stick that could prove useful when he is captured by Egg. Neville pulls out a broken gun and escapes with the Drive, giving Egg a hard punch in the face in retaliation for beating up Charles.

Is Christopher really trying to kill Madeline?

Given Christopher’s track record, Madeline is likely in danger

Yancy calls his former police partner Rogelio because he feels Madeleine might be in danger. Although he ends up being wrong, it’s understandable that she’s the next in Christopher/Nick’s series of loose ends to be tied up. Madeline obviously knows something since she keeps running away from Yancy. but that could also be because she is afraid of the law for other reasons. Given Christopher’s past, Madeline is probably in danger considering what happened to her boyfriend, but she may not be fully aware of how deep it all goes, or she might already be dead. Yancy will probably follow the lead about Christopher from Israel’s pamphlet, in Evil Monkey Episode 4.
