Nacogdoches police search for missing 12-year-old girl

Police in Nacogdoches, Texas, are searching for a suspected kidnapped 12-year-old girl.

Roselyn Smith was last seen around 7:45 a.m. this morning in Nacogdoches.

She was last seen in the 500 block of Tangleberry St. near the intersection with Tanglewood St. in Nacogdoches.

Roselyn is described by Nacogdoches Police as a black female with medium skin tone, wearing a black shirt with the gold lettering “QUEEN,” blue jean shorts, black shoes, and diamond stud earrings. Roselyn was carrying a backpack, a shoulder bag, and her clarinet.

She is 1.50 m tall, weighs 58 kg and has black hair and brown eyes.

Previously, Nacogdoches Police had been searching for a red Chevy Crew Cab truck that was spotted around 7:45 a.m. this morning in the area where Rosely went missing, but as of 4 p.m., they are no longer looking for it.
