“Seeing fans from all over the world celebrate this music has meant so much to me. Seeing the words of the song touch your heart and the video evoke this huge wave of dancing and fun is beautiful to watch and I’m so grateful,” she wrote alongside a series of photos of Gaga in her throwback outfit from the track’s accompanying music video. “Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for loving our song, I truly love you and I hope the message of love we shared will continue to create special moments for all of you in your lives – I know it does in mine every day. Shortly after the project was discontinued last week, joker star and “Uptown Funk!” singer made “Die With a Smile” its live debut at Mars’ concert on Thursday night (August 15) at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. He wore a cowboy hat for the show, while Gaga once again sported beehive hair similar to her look in the music video, maintaining the retro feel of the song.

Following the release, Gaga shared a video on TikTok in which she can be seen singing along to her newly released collaboration, sporting bright blue eye makeup and lovingly holding a small French bulldog in her arms.
