Normally, you’d have to book a trip with NASA to party with cowboys and aliens, but thanks to Pine’s party, many people who wanted to have fun only had to drive to Fire Island!

Thanks to these exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from Roland Fitz, we got to see everything that went down at this year’s Pines Party – and it looked like a futuristic “yay!” With a “Galactic Rodeo” theme for 2024, Pines Party transformed the Fire Island shoreline into this summer’s hottest spot, where partygoers let go of all inhibitions in their best space cowboy gear. (Cowboy hats, silver/chrome accessories, and bootyless chaps abound!)

The best part of all the celestial festivities was that — true to their tradition of helping the LGBTQ+ community on both a local and large scale — proceeds from the Pines Party helped raise money for several queer organizations, including the Stonewall Community Foundation, the Pines Foundation, and the Seashore Defense Fund.
