Brandy Norwood has heard that I know what you did last summer reboot that is in the works and reveals if she wants to take part in it.

The Front room Star was recently asked if she would reprise her role in the new slasher sequel more than 25 years after she starred in the film’s original sequel. I still remember what you did last summer.

“I’ve heard a lot about it,” said Norwood Entertainment tonight“Well, hopefully.”

Norwood starred in the 1998 sequel alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt as Karla Wilson, who did not die because “it was in the contract,” the singer and actor said.

“I don’t know how she could come back,” Norwood said of a possible revival of her role. “I haven’t thought about it yet, but I know she should come back. She should definitely come back.”

Norwood said they had contacted her about the sequel, adding: “So, we’ll see what happens.”

Although she had no longer been in contact with Hewitt, Norwood said she would “love to see her” as she was “always very pleasant to work with.”

Norwood’s other co-star, Freddie Prinze Jr., also recently announced that he is in talks to reprise his role in the reboot directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, which is scheduled to hit theaters on July 18, 2025.

“I really like Jen Robinson, both as a director and as a person. I think people like her are the future of this business. So there are a lot of good things that make me want to do the movie,” he told Us Weekly. “I’m motivated, I know they’re motivated. I know both sides are trying to make it work. And hopefully we can do that.”

The main roles in the new reboot are played by Camila Mendes, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers and Jonah Hauer-King.

Deadline also previously reported that Hewitt was in talks to reprise her role as Julie James.
